President's Corner

NeASFAA Friends,
We are blessed to work with and for people who have made education a priority, and in helping them we help our communities, state, country, and even the world. No matter how stressed, or tired, or crabby I find myself, I do not have to look far to be reminded that it is all worthwhile. It is so meaningful to help students find ways to get closer to their goals. It is truly rewarding to visit with parents and know that you have given them tools to help their children. I do get my fair share of not-so-uplifting moments with students and their families, but by and large the good out-weighs the bad in this game.
A few reminders for you:
• Spring conference will be held in Grand Island, April 4 & 5. It will be our first two-day conference, and our first effort at offering a track for fiscal offices too. Save the date!
